Selling a CAP/EAS System with HD-SDI Keyer
For Sale: Trilithic EASyCAST with Visionary keyer and EASyCAP Windows software. Perfect condition, equipment is less than 2 years old. This system requires a basic external computer to interface with the EASyCAST and run the CAP software. The computer is not included, but the EASyCAP software V.0115 runs in the background and can multitask with other functions. This is NOT a converter but actually upgrades the EASyCAST to CAP IPAWS Atom compatibility. The Trilithic Visionary keyer inserts on an HD or SD SDI stream. It keys the required crawl with an appropriate color background at the top of the video. It also interrupts the SDI audio and inserts EAS or CAP audio when an alert is sent. The Visionary HD keyer alone is worth the asking price. The EASyCAST has four Radio & NWS Tuners built in for legacy EAS monitoring. It has analog audio and video insertion as well as feeding the Visionary for full digital capabilities. We are assured by Trilithic that the EASyCAST equipment will have full factory support for many years to come. The Trilithic equipment was purchased for a TV sub-channel that went on the air in 2010. Since then CAP/EAS equipment has been installed for all of the station’s channels with a different system. Our loss is your gain. The equipment is in excellent condition and was working properly when removed from service. The EASyCAP software was not interfaced because it was not needed yet. KPTM is willing to sell the EASyCAST with CAP software and the Visionary keyer for less than half of what a new system would cost. The FCC deadline for having CAP/EAS equipment installed is June 30, 2012. This is a high end HDTV system that meets the FCC CAP requirements for a very reasonable price. We expect a strong response to this low price, so act quickly.
